You can try cross training with cycling for strengthening the quadriceps and thigh. This can help with knee problems. Also make sure you wear good shoes and the right type for your feet. I tend to have a little pain in my shoes.

Remember, rice for the pain - rest, ice, compression and elevation.

Maybe I can go to a gym, and try using an elliptical, there is no impact on the knees.

Running is hard on the knees, so I'm not sure is whether or not, but I know I've heard, due to its knees. I've been running for 20 years this month. I would not give up, so it is best to first research your options.
The dr. this kind can tell you to wear proper footwear, you need to lose weight, running in the right position, etc. ..

However, I recommend you to another sport in which the impact is on the knee to go much lower.

If the practice to eat and drink less salt and avoid even the little bear, frying.

Stretching before and after each exercise. If your knee pain ice after practice and taking Bayer aspirin.
